Copper and copper-silver core-shell nanoparticles: formation, characterization and potential applications.

New approach to synthesis of stable aqueous dispersions of copper and copper/silver core/shell nanoparticles and their characterization by various methods are described. The potential applications of these dispersions with a focus on their use as pigments for digital non-contact printing of conductive patterns are presented.
