Fast dynamics interfacial tension measurements by using the growing drop capillary pressure technique.

The present contribution is an attempt to introduce the experimental procedure and data analysis to extract capillary pressure measurements and to separate the respective contributions to the total pressure, i.e. change in interfacial tension due to surfactant’s adsorption/desorption and viscous and inertia effects. The proposed experimental tool is applied to model surfactant solutions for both fast growing drops and drop oscillations. The data analysis based on the developed hydrodynamic theory demonstrates the potential of the developed new methodology.
